Dida: AC Milan vs. Ajax, 2003

Dida is a Brazilian goalkeeper who spent the majority of his career at Italian giants AC Milan and had spells at Vitoria, Cruzeiro, Lugano, and Corinthians. He earned 91 caps for Brazil throughout his 11 year international stint. Dida won many titles throughout his career including Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League and the 2002 World Cup.

With Ajax pressing for an equaliser in this 2003 Champions League game the ball ended up at Rafael Van der Vaart's feet 8 yards out with a goal seeming the only certainty. From nowhere Dida flung himself across the goal and made a point blank save to deny the bemused Ajax midfield play-maker.
