Where & When are the practices?

Training will commence at the beginning of June based on regular club spring end dates and will run through to the end of July. There will be two 1.5 hour practices per week. This location is convenient for players from all areas with access from I-287/I-78 and US-22, in Central, New Jersey.

What's the competition level?

Summer Development Soccer teams will play in tournaments such as the Greystone Cup, Maps Caps Classic and Central Jersey Invitational. The teams will contain players who are committed and motivated to improve and will compete in the same brackets as Select, Premier and out-of-state ODP teams. This level of competition will compliment the structured training program for each age group.

How many tournaments will my player participate in?

Each team will play in 3 competitive tournaments in the tri-state area .

How many players will be on each team?

A 7 a-side (U9-U10) teams will carry a roster of 11-13 players. A 9 a-side (U11-U12)  team will carry a roster between 12-14 players. A 11 a-side (U13+) team will carry a roster between 16-18 players.

By accepting a place on the program, players are expected to commit to full tournaments and practice attendance. Absences should be communicated to the player's coach.

Can I play year-round on an SDS Team?

No. USA does not run any teams in the spring or fall. There will be no player recruitment to any travel teams, USA trained or otherwise. All coaches, players and parents must sign a waiver that confirms this.  The Summer Development Soccer program is designed to complement the players travel team experience, not replace it.

What's the cost?

Our price per child for 2017 is $650. We require a $250 non-refundable deposit

The total fee covers all administration costs, professional soccer coaching, training facility costs, 3 tri-state area tournament entries and a full Nike uniform with a home and way jersey.

Why only one price?

For 2017, USA has decided to charge each player the same amount. The reason for this is because we provide each team with the same high quality provisions regardless of their age or roster size.

What have previous players and parents said about this program?

Program Feedback, as taken from our end of season surveys.
